Hyderabad, October 21: Eamcet, the most popular entrance test in the state since 1980s for admission to engineering, agriculture and medical courses, is gradually losing its relevance and importance with each passing year. With over 1 lakh Engineering seats going vacant in merit quota alone consecutively for the last two years, the quessstion of whether there is a need to conduct Eamcet anymore is being debated among officials and academicians.

కొలువుల్లేక బీటెక్ పట్టభద్రుల తిప్పలు ఉద్యోగాల్లేక ఏటా లక్ష మంది రోడ్లపైకి.. చదువుల్లో గట్టెక్కుతున్నా.. ఉద్యోగం మెట్టు ఎక్కడంలో తడబాటు 2012-13లో పట్టభద్రులు 1.25 లక్షలు క్యాంపస్ ప్లేస్‌మెంట్లు దక్కింది 25 వేల మందికే ఉద్యోగం దొరక్క ఉన్నత చదువులకు కొందరు.. బీటెక్‌తో సంబంధం లేని జాబుల్లో మరికొందరు చేరుతున్న ఉద్యోగాల్లో అరకొర జీతంతో కష్టాలు అధ్వాన బోధన ప్రమాణాలు, వసతుల లేమి పారిశ్రామిక అనుసంధానం లేకపోవడమే కారణం

విభజన జరిగితే ఎన్ని ఉద్యోగాలు వస్తాయి? నిరుద్యోగులు, ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల్లో జోరుగా చర్చలు పది వేలకు కూడా మించవంటున్న ఉద్యోగ సంఘాలు సీమాంధ్ర ఉద్యోగులకు ఆప్షన్లు ఇస్తే ఖాళీలు ఐదు వేలే సాక్షి,హైదరాబాద్: రాష్ట్ర విభజన అనివార్యమైతే తెలంగాణలో కొత్తగా ఎన్ని ఉద్యోగాలు వస్తాయి? రాజకీయ పార్టీల నేతలు చెబుతున్నట్లు లక్షల్లో ఉద్యోగావకాశాలు లభిస్తాయా? రాష్ట్రం చిన్నదికావడం వల్ల ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న ఉద్యోగులకే పని లేకుం డా పోతుందా? తెలంగాణ ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్ర ప్రతిపాదనకు కేంద్ర కేబినెట్ ఆమోదం తెలిపిన నేపథ్యంలో అటు ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల్లో, ఇటు నిరుద్యోగుల్లో ఈ అంశంపైనే విస్తృతమైన చర్చ జరుగుతోంది. రాష్ట్రం విడిపోతే ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు ఎలా ఉంటాయి? కొత్తగా ఎన్ని ఉద్యోగాలు వస్తాయన్న అంశాలే ఇప్పుడు హాట్ టాపిక్ అయ్యాయి. డెరైక్టరేట్, కమిషనరేట్లలో ప్రస్తుతం ఎంతమంది ఉద్యోగులు ఉన్నా రు? రాష్ట్రం విడిపోతే ఎందరు మిగులుతారు? అన్నదానిపై ఉద్యోగ సంఘాలు కసరత్తు చేస్తున్నాయి. సంఘాలు ఇప్పటికే సేకరించిన సమాచారం మేరకు.. వారు వేసుకున్న అంచనాల ప్రకారం రాష్ట్రం ఏర్పాటైతే కొత్తగా వచ్చే ఉద్యోగాలు పది వేలకు కూడా మించవు! సీమాంధ్ర ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన కొన్ని కేటగిరీల ఉద్యోగులకు వారు ఎక్కడ ఉండాలో తేల్చుకునే ఆప్షన్లు ఇస్తే ఈ సంఖ్య మరింతగా తగ్గుతుందని అంటున్నారు.

The University Grants Commission announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 29th December 2013 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges. UGC will conduct NET in 79 subjects including Santali new subject (listed under item no. 9) at 84 (Eighty Four, including five new centres) selected NET Coordinating Institutions (listed under Item no. 10) spread across the country.

Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIMEE) has a Memorandum of Understanding with BIT, Mesra, for awarding the degrees.

The exam schedule for JEE (Advanced) 2014 has been announced, which is an entrance test for admission to the undergraduate programs in Engineering, Architecture and Sciences at all IITs and ISM Dhanbad. 

The first part of the exam i.e. JEE (Mains) 2014 is scheduled on 6 April and the second part of the Joint Entrance Examination i.e. JEE (Advanced) 2014 is scheduled on 25 May.

Eligibility

Top 1,50,000 (including all categories) attendants in the merit list of JEE (Mains) 2014 (Paper -1) will be eligible to write JEE (Advanced) 2014.
