 Hyderabad, October 21: Eamcet, the most popular entrance test in the state since 1980s for admission to engineering, agriculture and medical courses, is gradually losing its relevance and importance with each passing year. With over 1 lakh Engineering seats going vacant in merit quota alone consecutively for the last two years, the quessstion of whether there is a need to conduct Eamcet anymore is being debated among officials and academicians. |
