SCRA Exam 2014 – A Great Avenue for Mechanical Engineering Aspirants : The Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) Exam 2014 to be conducted by the UPSC every year is one of the toughest exams among the aspirants due to its dual nature of offering an esteemed graduation degree and a highly deserving job in railways. The candidates on clearing the two stage entrance exam undergo a four-year rigorous training programme in Mechanical Engineering and on successful completion of the course get a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from BITS, Mesra, Ranchi. Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIMEE) has a Memorandum of Understanding with BIT, Mesra, for awarding the degrees. SCRA Exam 2014
